T-mobile en la carrera por la victoria : la suprema estrategia de at&t
While T-Mobile seems poised to challenge Verizon for the top spot in terms of subscriber count, a closer look at at&t's moves suggests the company might emerge as the true strategic victor in the telecom industry.
T-mobile's 5g push, at&t's fiber focus
T-Mobile is leaning on 5G internet, adding 142.4 million customers at the end of 2025 and targeting 15 million 5G broadband customers by 2030. However, at&t has been scaling up its fiber footprint, adding over 1 million fiber customers for the eighth consecutive year and passing 32 million households and businesses with its service.
Seeking Alpha forecasts that at&t will overtake T-Mobile in 2026, with the former expected to reach 60 million fiber locations by 2030 compared to T-Mobile's 3 to 4 million fiber customers during the same period.

At&t's winning strategy
According to Seeking Alpha, while other segments like wireless are major revenue contributors, fiber has an edge when it comes to future growth. That's because fiber could help carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile transform from utility-like service providers into high-margin connectivity ecosystems.
With wireless nearing saturation and demand for high-speed home internet on the rise, AT&T's investments in spectrum and fiber put it in a strong position to win more customers across the US.
